redundancy and stuff...

The weather was stagnate here in Spokane last week, and with the many fires burning in the region and Canada, we had had hot, orange skies for too long. So this last Sunday morning it was nice to wake up to the after effects of a little rain that has returned to us the clear sweet smelling blue skies that we are accustom to here in the inland northwest. And we had more rain and winds that have kept it clear since. I am ready for fall to arrive.

These past few weeks have also been busy ones, with finishing up the front and back yards, installing a new front door and outside lighting, and rewiring the garage. We took a weekend getaway to Nelson British Columbia in the middle of it all. Then two photo events, the first as the featured artist at a monthly wine tasting event, and the second at a juried art show. We also picked up a new family member, a little one year old dog we named Roxie. She's half Pekingese, half Border Terrier, and alot of fun. She has fit in well and gets along with our other dog Ack quite well.

It's hard to remember what I've mentioned here or on facebook anymore. I know I've posted a bunch of photos of the dogs and mentioned the photography events on FB , because I find it easier to do quick updates there rather than plan out blog posts here, but then when I do blog here it all seems a bit redundant. I think most the people that read here also know me on FB, and it seems like many bloggers are slowly shifting over as well.

So the end of this blog is neigh, and I have picked the date and subject of my last post.

But I am still here for now, and I have several posts that I've set up to automatically pop up for the next couple weeks. For anyone left still looking and reading here, enjoy.
