care package from my adopted country

It started with a craving. My favorite biscuits (cookies to us Yanks) while living in Australia were Tic Tocs, and I posted about one night on Facebook about wanting some. And now as I write this I'm enjoying some. And Hundreds and thousands biscuits, Tim Tams, and chicken Twisties (saltier than I remember). All thanks to the generosity of a fellow blogger that when I return to Oz will be on my short list of people (and one dog) to visit.
Thank you (again) Ute!
And another ex blogger has told me she is going to send me a package of goodies soon as well.
See why I so love this country and it's people? Just the nicest sort you could ever want to meet. And Ute is going to be getting some American goodies soon too. I hope she and Magnaboy enjoy them as much as we're enjoying the Aussie snacks she sent.

As she puts it: Nom nom!

;o) You are very welcome.

Yeah, I'm not as keen on the chicken Twisties as I am of the cheese ones.

Glad they arrived Ok, and didn't get all squished.

Enjoy!

Fusion ~ I'm collecting up some goodies for new adopted sisters in Canada.. Thorntons toffee, polo mints.. custard creams..to name but a few. They've never has Thorntons toffee, apparently in Australia it's $8.00 a LB in weight. So as one of my new sisters loves toffee candy, I'm sendin her some.. you get the chapstick too?

I love Tim Tam's as well. But you can get them in Canada. Next time you drive north, stop at a London Drugs. They carry them. Deb

Ute: Enjoying them every day!

Mel: I understand, you're a busy mum, no worries. Whenever you get a chance is fine :)

XL: Agreed, on both counts!

SC: Yep, she is!

Indi: Heh, I was wondering if someone was going to notice the chapstick! No, that was mine, been a user of the stuff all my life.

Thanks Deb! Good to know, planning a trip to Cranbrook in the fall, we'll have to pick some up then.
