Just a heads up guys, it's not good to let your girlfriend of long standing find out that you mis-spelled her name on your cell phone the weekend Valentines Day falls on.
Hey it's an honest mistake, Terri instead of Terry, right? Just one letter off.
No, she didn't buy it either.
But then she couldn't remember my birthday last year either, as she pointed out.
Thankfully we're going away to a nice bed & breakfast this weekend, and I plan to make her forget all about my faux pas...

Oh, it's not such a bad thing. People spell my name all sorts of ways! Elaine, Laine, Layne, Lane, Laney, Lainie, Lainey....
I'm still me...lol...however they spell it ;)
Yo...it's only a problem when it lasts a VERY long time. Like when you're married for 18 years and the husband STILL spells the name wrong...that's simply sad.

Ah. Romance. It doesn't really come out much in my relationship. We have a running contest to find the funniest valentine each year for each other. No mush allowed. We don't do Christmas presents except for one year when she had the ugliest photo she could find of herself in a baseball cap plastered on a mug and had the words, "I luv you, Maria from Bing" on it. It is the tackiest thing I have ever seen and my coffee mug at work now....
