You have to go read these two post (here and here) that my blogging friend Maria posted.
Read all the comments too. She has stated better than I ever could my feelings about Sarah Palin. I still worry that someday she could be elected President, and if that day ever comes, this country would be in serious trouble. I like to think that we as a people would be smarter than that, but sadly I know it isn't the case anymore. There are many people out there that you'd tell them their ass is on fire, and they'd fall down trying to look at it.
I have a small rant that has been smoldering in my head that I will put down on (electronic) paper soon, but for now Maria's commentary will have to suffice.

I'm a Republican, but also the first to admit Sarah Palin is a complete DUMBASS. I don't think you have to worry about her getting elected.
